II. Minutes approved: Approval of May, June, July, Aug were tabled, as there was no quorum
III. Review Agenda: Approved as is
IV. Announcements: None
V. Business Items:
1. Policy Agenda:
-Alison will give update to Karen Weitkunat
-Penny reported on her research on Women Owned Businesses
-Alison's work on Pay and Job Opportunities for Women in non-traditional Roles had been
delayed by her new job
2. Marcile N. Wood Award:
-Alison mailed application and letter to Cecilia
-To be done:
Alison will update mailing list
Cecilia will make changes to application and letter
Barbara's office will make application into pdf file and
send to Judy Benson @ City to link to Website
Penny will craft letter to editor about the award
-Schedule
Contact Mary Carraher @ Project Self Sufficiency about the awards night
Decision of winner made by end of February
Stuff envelopes at December meeting
Applications mailed out and put on web by Jan 1"
Applications back by February 15'b
3. Women History Contest
-Kristin will rework essay contest material
-Essays due to commission by Feb 27"
-Theme will remain the same
-Reading of essays will be on Saturday Mar 6" at Human Rights Office
-Penny will do spreadsheet
