Business
A Membership Discussion of email from Haerm Discussion of Kara s unexcused absence
B Proclamation for Win s Equality Jean brought up dated copy to meeting Jean and Alison will attend
to receive proclamation at Aug 20 City Council meeting
C Meeting with Wendell Pryor of Division of Civil Rights Date scheduled is Aug 15'"@ noon Jean
will call Ed Gibbs back to secure a meeting place She will put out an email to let members know the
meeting place Kristin will contact Dianne Heath to discuss any research Sr Advisory Board has done
on senior women
D Work with the Senior Advisory Board Kristin met with Dianne Heath concerning the proposed
writing in the Coloradoan on Senior Woman Dianne wants to present an outlme to the paper about
what the series will be about Kristin asked the members for input for the series Jean questioned what
the main goal of the series is according to the Sr Adv Board and would like Kristin to pursue
conversation with Dianne and/or Sr Adv Board to determine their primary goals Additionally
Kristen brought up the idea of having a reverse Lucie booth on Sept 8t' Grandparents Day at the
Sr Corr to gather information from Sr Win Dianne will share mailing list for use for Marcile Wood
Award
E Marcile N Wood Award Jean has made contact with Jane Everham and Alison Merrill and they will
be willing to write something for PR Barb needs to reserves space in the Utilities Flyer deadline
Sept 3—need 200 words Annmarie contacted Karla to add things to the website Jean passed out a
draft of the Ranking Scale for Nominees for the MNW Award for a first reading Second reading will
occur in Aug Members reviewed the cover letter for the MNW Award and made changes Alison
will rewrite the draft Mailing list —will be completed by July 29" Alison will email the completed
list Kristin brought the United Way list which will be added to the primary list
