Business
1 Membership Sara Lamia resigned in July Her resignation makes it almost
impossible to have sub -committees Members posed the idea of speaking to Karen
Wertkunat about being in some way involved in the interview process for new
members Alison will check into meeting with Karen
2 Wm In History Essay Contest Members decided even with the decreased numbers
of members, they should keep the essay project as planned
3 Lunch with Wendell Pryor Members who attended gave a report about the meeting
and that they had spoken about the education review Jean had done and the Women's
Health Report that Deb had done Members were overall impressed at Mr Pryor s
deliberate meeting to listen
4 Marcile N Wood Members reviewed the forms and letters Alison will finalize the
letter and application Members will stuff envelopes at the next meeting The
Ranking Scale for applications was discussed Annmane moved to adopt the scale,
Alison seconded, it passed unanimously
5 Grandparents Day Tlus is to take place Sept 8 at the Senior Center CSW will
have a "Lucy Booth personed by Kristin Seniors will be invited to fill out a
questionnaire for use by the CSW on understanding the needs of Seniors in the
community
