I. CALL TO ORDER
April 15, 2002

Vice -Chairperson Robert Steiner called the regular meeting of the Fort Collins Housing Authority to
order at 8:35 a.m. via conference call. This meeting had been posted in the usual manner as an open
meeting. Ms. Brewen noted that Commissioners Brady and Wanner would not be participating in this
meeting due to a conflict of interest.
II. CITIZEN INPUT
There was no citizen input.

Ms. Brewen presented a request to the Board to approve acquisition of a townhouse located at 4315 JFK
Parkway, #4 for re -sale to a qualified buyer. The current owner is headed toward foreclosure and has
agreed to sell the unit to FCHA prior to foreclosure. Funding Partners for Housing Solutions has
approved a loan not to exceed $80,000 to purchase and re -sell this property to a qualified buyer.
The board had many questions about the current grants attached to the property and about the income
ranges of the potential buyers. Ms. Brewen stated that at this time there are no preferences in the buyer
selection process, but she hopes to create a more detailed system for homeownership when the new
Section 8 Homeownership Coordinator begins.
A motion was made by Commissioner Liley, seconded by Commissioner Sollenberger, to approve
Resolution 02-04, Approval of JFK Parkway Townhouse Purchase and Re -sale. The motion was
unanimously passed.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Vice -Chairperson Steiner adjourned this special meeting of the Fort Collins Housing Authority Board at
8:45 a.m.
