I. CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Patrick Brady called the regular meeting of the Fort Collins Housing Authority to order at
7:39 a.m.
H. CITIZEN INPUT
There was no citizen input.
III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Board reviewed the minutes from the July 1, 2003 teleconference call meeting of the Fort Collins
Housing Authority. Commissioner Daily made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Tharp to approve
the minutes of the July 1, 2003 meeting. This motion was passed unanimously.
IV. OLD BUSINESS
Continuing Discussion of Homeownership Market: Commissioner Daily presented the Board with a
report of the homes currently on the market corresponding to various Area Median Income levels. The
Board would like to see this report specific for Fort Collins with historical data. Staff will work with
Commissioner Daily on additional information and a process for tracking this information over time.
V. NEW BUSINESS
Legislative Issues: The Board reviewed a letter drafted by Colorado Chapter of the National Association
of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) concerning Housing Assistance for Needy Families
(HANF) S.947. Ms. Brewen updated the Board, stating that this issue has been tabled at this time
however, Senator Allard may bring it back next year.
VI. SECOND QUARTER FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Mr. Fluharty presented the Board with the second quarter financial statements. Mr. Fluharty noted as of
July 1, 2003 Public Housing met the estimated vacancy rate was accurate.
VII. REVIEW OF MONTLY ACTIVITY REPORT
There were no questions regarding the Monthly Activity Report.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT
Chairperson Brady adjourned the regular meeting of the Fort Collins Housing Authority Board at 8:55 a.m.
The next regular meeting will be held on August 21, 2003 prior to the retreat.
