Regular Meeting — Wednesday, September 17, 2003

I. Call to order 3:47 p.m. — Ms. Hixon-Cunningham
II. Consideration of the agenda
Ill. Approval of minutes from the meeting of September 10, 2003
Mr. I -Lowe moved to approve the minutes as corrected.
Ms. Dale seconded.
Approved unanimously.
IV. Citizen Input
V. Utility Service Center Entryway Project Proposal Review
The selection committee reviewed submissions for this project.
Ms. Dale moved to accept James Haire as the sculptor.
Ms. Liska-Smith seconded.
Approved unanimously.
VI. Pedestrian Accessibility Project
Staff distributed a draft of the RFP to the board to commission youth designs for sandblasted granite pavers installed into city
sidewalks. Staff suggested accepting more designs, paying $50 dollars for each. Mr. Sherman suggested adding a third category for 18
and up.
Mr. Howe moved to go out to the schools asking for paver designs.
Mr. Sherman seconded.
Approved unanimously

Ms. Martin distributed written report of staff activities since last month's board meeting.
