HomeMy WebLinkAboutLiquor Licensing Authority - Minutes - 06/27/2022 LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MINUTES Regular Meeting. – June 27, 2022 11:00 a.m. Staff Liaison: Aimee Jensen A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held June 27, 2022, in via Zoom Link, Associate Judge Michelle Kline presiding. Secretary’s Note: All applications were heard via Zoom. Staff in attendance: Jenny Lopez-Filkins Senior City Attorney Holly Coulehan, Assistant City Attorney II Carrie Ripsam, Liquor Enforcement Officer Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Sidewalk Service Area Permit from Xenia Ventures, LLC, dba Choice City Butcher & Deli, 104 West Olive Street, Approved Russ Robinson, representative for Xenia Ventures, LLC, stated this request is make permanent the temporary COVID modification of premise. He stated he has the Encroachment Permit from the City’s Engineering office. Mr. Robinson stated he understands that only waitstaff can carry alcoholic beverages across the sidewalk. Chief Judge Hueser approved the sidewalk service area permit from Xenia Ventures, LLC, dba Choice City Butcher & Deli, 104 West Olive Street. Sidewalk Service Area Permit from Las Isabeles, LLC, dba La Buena Vida Mexican Restaurant, 901 East Harmony Road, Approved Hugo Cabellero, Jr., representative for Las Isabeles, LLC, stated that they wish to permanently include the parking lot adjacent to their restaurant as part of their licensed premise. In response to questions from the Authority, Mr. Cabellero stated he will contact Zoning to submit their application for a minor amendment. Chief Judge Hueser approved the sidewalk service area permit from Las Isabeles, LLC, dba La Buena Vida Mexican Restaurant, 901 East Harmony Road, on the condition they are approved for their Minor Amendment application from the City’s Zoning Department. In response to questions from the Authority, Mr. Lemus stated this patio area is fully contained on the sidewalk. Chief Judge Hueser approved the sidewalk service area permit application from Taqueria Los Comales, LLC, dba Los Comales, 111 West Prospect Road.
