Secretary’s Note: All applications were heard via Zoom. Staff in attendance: Bronwyn Scurlock, Assistant City Attorney II Carrie Ripsam, Liquor Enforcement Officer Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Consent Agenda Approved:  Minutes from the January 21, 2021.  2020 Annual Report. Liquor Enforcement Update Liquor Enforcement Officer Ripsam stated Fort Collins Police Services conducted random compliance checks:  February 11, 2021, visiting 14 liquor licensed establishments of which 1 served the underage operative: a failure rate of 7.14%.  February 17, 2021, visiting 12 liquor licensed establishments of which 4 served the underage operative: a failure rate of 33.3%. Manager Registration Application from MBR, LLC, dba Rare Italian 101 South College Avenue, Approved Collin McDowell, manager applicant, stated that any employee found in violation of the liquor code would be immediately terminated. He stated he is both a TIPs and SafeServ trainer. Mr. McDowell stated that Rare is very strict about carding and that they do not accept vertical IDs without a secondary form of identification. Judge Hueser approved the manager registration application from MBR, LLC, dba Rare Italian, 101 South College Avenue. DocuSign Envelope ID: E817DAFA-8C0D-484B-889D-2E1B355C27D7 February 18, 2021  Page 2 | 2    Transfer of Ownership Application from The Comedy Fort, LLC, dba The Comedy Fort, 167 North College Avenue, Approved David Rodriquez, representative for The Comedy Fort, LLC, stated he has hired staff with multiple years of experience in the sale and service of alcohol. Mr. Rodriquez stated most of his shows will only allow 21+ patrons on premise. He will stated all staff will be required to TIPs trained and that any employee found in violation of the liquor code will be immediately terminated. Judge Hueser approved the transfer of ownership application from The Comedy Fort, LLC, dba The Comedy Fort, 167 North college Avenue.
