LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MINUTES
Special Meeting. – April 22, 2021

A special meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held April 22, 2021 in Municipal Court, 215
North Mason Assistant Judge Nieto presiding.
Secretary’s Note: All applications were heard via Zoom.

New Application for a
Fermented Malt Beverage License from Mini Mart, Inc., dba
Loaf n’ Jug #750812, 1601 South College Avenue, Approved
Loaf n’ Jug, 3512 Lochwood Drive, Approved
Loaf n’ Jug, 3531 South Shields Street, Approved
Loaf n’ Jug, 4727 South Timberline Road, Approved
Brian Proffitt, attorney representing Mini Mart, Inc., stated he has two witnesses to testify for these
applications; Shauna Bezio, Regional Manager for Mini Mart, Inc., and Eva Garrettson, representative
for LiquorPros Petitioning. The Authority swore in both witnesses.
Mr. Proffitt briefly described the history of these locations and called on Ms. Bezio to describe each
of the locations and how to manage beer sales. She stated they are adding a fermented malt beverage
license to these locations as their other stores carry fermented malt beverage. Ms. Bezio detailed
training employees are required to complete before being allowed to sell alcohol. She stated they
conduct self-compliance checks at each of their 178 stores once a month.
Eva Garretson briefly described the petitioning process, stating that all the locations petitioning results
show strong support for each application.
Judge Nieto adopted Resolution 2021-006 approved a fermented malt beverage license application
from Mini Mart, Inc., dba Loaf n’ Jug #750812, 1601 South College Avenue.

Judge Nieto adopted Resolution 2021-007 approved a fermented malt beverage license application
from Mini Mart, Inc., dba Loaf n’ Jug 750819, 3512 Lochwood Drive
Judge Nieto adopted Resolution 2021-008 approved a fermented malt beverage license application
from Mini Mart, Inc., Loaf n’ Jug 750816, 3531 South Shields Street.
Judge Nieto adopted Resolution 2021-009 approved a fermented malt beverage license application
from Mini Mart, inc., Loaf n’ Jug 750822, 4727 South Timberline Road.
