Meeting called to order at 11:02 am
1. Citizen Participation and Plan Member Comments - none noted
2. Consider Approving the Minutes from the Meeting of July 14,2022.
Del Bernhardt made a motion to approve the minutes as presented.
Ralph Zentz seconded the motion.
Approval confirmed via roll call; Ralph Zentz, Del Bernhardt, Jackie Darner, Blaine Dunn,
and Clark Mapes.
3. Review and consider Plan member requests for retroactive payment of benefits due to
failure to send eligibility letters. (LeeAnna Vargas)
Sharon Getz; new email address and address received - request is now in process.
Blaine Dunn made a motion to approve retroactive payment for Sharon Getz.
Del Bernhardt seconded the motion.
Approval confirmed via roll call; Ralph Zentz, Del Bernhardt, Jackie Darner, Blaine Dunn,
and Clark Mapes.
4. Plan Participant Updates (LeeAnna Vargas)
Kirsten Whetstone; request letter received July 13, 2022.

LeeAnna is in the process of locating two other members for the age 64 ½ letter.
She reached out to LexisNexis to get cost information for additional locator services. She also
reached out to City of Fort Collins Utilities to discuss signing a Memo of Understanding so she
could request contact information for GERP members (if members are existing utility
customers). She is still trying to contact Thomas Forte and Thomas Chappel. There are also
two new members she is trying to locate to send the 64 ½ letter to them.
LeeAnna and Amber will work on letter to be sent to all GERP members to confirm we have
current contact information and to ask members to keep us updated if their contact information
changes. Joel provided member database information.
5. Review Investment Report (Blaine Dunn in Amanda Newton’s absence)
Total portfolio is down 9.7% YTD. Was down 13.7% last month YTD.
Overall, we are outperforming benchmarks by .05%

6. Other Business; None
The City Clerk’s office is redoing their process for new Board & Commission members. They
requested questions to ask future GERC applicants. We had two applicants in process.
Hopefully by the next meeting, we will have more information to share.
