1. CALL TO ORDER Terry Schlicting call to order 5:32 pm
2. ROLL CALL & New member introductions
Present: Terry Schlicting, Rachel Knox-Stutsman, Jaclyn Menendez, Joseph Tiner, Evan
Shockley, Linda Drees
Board Members Absent: Mandy Morgan, Scott Winnegrad
Staff Members Present: Melanie Clark
Guests: Shanae Core
3. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Terry’s brother working on PHD looking for persons with mobility disabilities that create
challenges with transportation to interview for dissertation. Give Terry email if interested.
4. ELECTION
Chair –Linda D. motion for Terry Schlicting to serve as Chair, Jaclyn M. seconded motion.
Elected unanimously.
Co-Chair – Linda D. motion for Scott Winnegrad to serve as Co-Chair, Jaclyn M. seconded
motion. Elected unanimously.

5. OLD BUSINESS
a. Community Recognition Awards – Hold until the Spring (late May or early June).
Previously held at CSU and Senior Center.
Pros – Positive for community.
Cons - Struggles getting nominations for awards (Board can generate nominations,
possible social media platforms).
Nomination process subcommittee vote on nominations.
Claudia working on budget.
Shanae Core interested in helping on award committee.
Joe Tiner interested in helping on award committee.
b. Chief Swoboda - October
c. Jenny Miller, Grant - Status
Terry wrote letter for Grant approval.
Evan stated no decision has been made at this point will address at next month’s
meeting.
d. Election Process – August (Claudie/Jeni)
6. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
a. Will approve at next meeting with quorum
January 2022 – No meeting held
February and March 2022 – Minutes attached
June sent in email sent by Jeni June 12th.
Motion for February and March 2022 minutes to be accepted by Linda D. as
written. Seconded by Joe T.
Motion for June 2022 minutes to be accepted by Terry S. Seconded by Linda D.
