CALL TO ORDER – Melissa Rosas called the meeting to order at 5:36 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: Elizabeth Grant, Mark Partridge, Shamera Loose, Melissa Rosas, Allison Dineen, Todd Newhouse Absent: Sally Lee Staff Members Present: Christine Macrina, Adam McCambridge (FCPS); Jeremy Yonce, Asst. Chief Tim Duran Guests: Sady Swanson AGENDA REVIEW Melissa reviewed the agenda CITIZEN PARTICIPATION – none APPROVAL OF MINUTES Shamera Loose moved to approve April 13, 2022, Minutes, Mark Partridge seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. NEW BUSINESS No new voicemail E-mail: on 05/11/2022 - University of Denver Student reaching out to gather information regarding cases of police misconduct. Adam will provide annual reports which lists cases reviewed. Provide all public open records. Training: FCPS Lt. Jeremy Yonce. Asst Chief Tim Duran presented an overview of the Judicial District 8 Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) • District 8 CIRT investigation involves an employee of police agencies in which serious bodily injury exists. • Protocol on Larimer County Website BOARD MEMBER REPORTS Melissa reported that she met with Councilmember Shirley Peel for general discussion. On April 28, 2022, Melissa attended an Equity Indicator Forum, during the Criminal Justice session Chief Swoboda informed the participants of the online transparency page found at https://www.fcgov.com/police/transparency. OTHER BUSINESS • Decision memos have been added to the CRB Board web page. Still in process is to link the police department transparency page to city clerk’s office CRB page. • Alison has asked if there was a way the Board could assist the public in knowing what Case Number refers to which investigation.  Mark shared that the police department can provide case number to help find information and record being requested.  Alison will draft an email to Jenny regarding what information could be released with Case Number to provide context to the public.  Allison requested that once the “Decision Memo” is available distribute to the Board. • The Board decided to keep track of the number of decisions that agree or disagree with Internal Affairs and include data in the Annual Report. • Adam McCambridge announced that this meeting would be his last, Frank Barret will be the police staff liaison moving forward. The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m. .
