Transportation Provide for safe & reliable multimodal travel to, from, and throughout the city o Work toward additional ADA accessible parking in the downtown area. o Improve Regional Interconnectivity for paratransit service. o Address winter snow removal to ensure accessibility 0 Ensure accessible bus stop improvements are occurring as planned 0 Advocate for extended COVID-related service hours; when regular (non-COVID) service resumes, advocate for extended service hours Safe Community Provide a safe place to live, work, learn and play o Explore current emergency preparedness systems and make appropriate suggestions for improvement. 0 List Emergency notification resources on FCGOV website o Meet with Police Chief COD 2021 Work Plan Rev. 11/19/2020 Culture & Recreation Provide diverse cultural and recreational amenities o Collaborate with City's Special Events Coordinator as an ADA advisory committee for special events 0 Provide input on Park accessiblity improvement priorities for 2021-2022 Budget Economic Health Promote a healthy, sustainable economy reflecting community values o Continue to highlight/recognize employers who hire people with disabilities through annual Community Recognition Awards. o Support the City of Ft Collins in hiring people with disabilties High Performing Government Deliver an efficient, innovative, transparent, effective and collaborative city government o Introduce People First Language to City Council.
