Village on Horsetooth Housing Catalyst’s newest development opened in October 2018, bringing affordable apartments to central Fort Collins. This community features a large greenspace at its center, community gardens, playground, dog park, covered bike parking and walking paths that connect to a city trail system. We provide the critical tools families need and serve as an anchor for people whose lives need stability and support. Village on Shields When Housing Catalyst purchased this community, it was in dire need of repairs and upgrades. In 2018, all apartment interiors and exteriors were renovated, and residents now have central air conditioning, beautifi ed outdoor green spaces, new playgrounds and a dog park.
