Mission: The Senior Advisory Board shall serve in an advisory capacity y to the Fort Collins City
Council on programs and policies that help aging citizens live full and interesting lives and continue to
contribute, participate, and share in the life of the community.
NOTE: light lunch will be served

V. Ongoing projects
a. Intergenerational Conversations - Fort Collins
i. Couple of events in Loveland, committee meeting last week; 1st Fort Collins meeting in
June; plan event at senior center. Saturday, 2-hour event.
b. Transportation Complaint Process – Jason and Jan
i. No update. Will table the topic.
VI. Updates
a. Transportation: City & PAFC - Jason
a. Project Miles through PAFC, one click / one call program, southern Loveland and
Berthoud; pilot program; portal program to disseminate transportation needs
b. Housing City & PAFC– Nancy & Sarah no report
c. PAFC Other: H&W, Culture & Steering – Myles
a. Annual report coming out soon
VII. New Business
a. Education: AARP Report Discussion:
“Making Room - Housing for a Changing America”
b. Advocacy: SAB support for VOA/PAFC Fort Collins Affordable Housing Initiative 5/16
i. Myles plans to attend event
c. Outreach: Other community activities: FC DATA and CASOA update
d. The Board discussed and unanimously approved a proposal for a SAB member each month to
present a brief bio so that the SAB can better get to know each other. Greg Wells agreed to
present his bio at the June 12 meeting.
e. General discussion on affordable housing
