A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held June 7, 2018 in Municipal Court, 215
North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Show Cause Hearing for Pringle Enterprises, Inc., dba
Pringle Brothers Fine Wine & Spirits,
2100 West Drake Road, #11, Stipulation Agreement Approved
Anda Lincoln, attorney representing Pringle Enterprises, Inc., stated she has had a chance to review
the stipulation agreement.
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock briefly the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has agreed
to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served ($5000 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 10 days held in
abeyance for one year for violating Colorado Liquor Code Section 12-47-901(1)(a.5) prohibiting the
service of an alcohol beverage to a person under the age of twenty-one years.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as
presented for Pringle Enterprises, Inc., dba Pringle Brothers Fine Wine & Spirits, 2100 West Drake
Road, #11.
Show Cause Hearing for C&C Wines and Spirits, dba
C&C Liquor, 1501 West Elizabeth Street, #D, Stipulation Agreement Approved
Charles Runco, representative for C&C Wines and Spirits, stated he has had a chance to review the
stipulation agreement.
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock briefly the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has agreed
to a 13 day suspension, 3 days served ($5000 paid assurance of voluntary compliance), with 10 days
held in abeyance for one year for 1 year for violating Colorado Liquor Code Section 12-47-901(1)(a)
permitting the sale or service of alcohol beverages to a visibly intoxicated person.

Show Cause Hearing for Lilly-Julian, Inc., and
7-Eleven, Inc., dba 7-Eleven #20104A,
430 Remington Street, Stipulation Agreement Approved
Nick Shutz, Lilly-Julian, Inc., and 7-Eleven, Inc., stated he has had a chance to review the stipulation
agreement. He stated the employee that sold to the underage operative’s employment terminated.
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock briefly the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has agreed
to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served ($200 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 10 days held in
abeyance for one year for 1 year for violating Colorado Liquor Code Section 12-47-901(1)(a.5)
prohibiting the service of an alcohol beverage to a person under the age of twenty-one years. The City
received payment at the hearing.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as
presented for Lilly-Julian, Inc., and 7-Eleven, Inc., dba 7-Eleven #20104A, 430 Remington Street.
Temporary Modification of Premise Application from
The Criterion Group, LLC, dba The Melting Pot,
334 East Mountain Avenue, Approved
Ryan Houdek, representative for The Criterion Group, LLC, stated this year’s event is similar to
previous years. In response to questions from the Authority, Mr. Houdek briefly described the
temporary modification of premise.
Judge Lane approved the temporary modification of premise application from The Criterion Group,
LLC, dba The Melting Pot, 354 East Mountain Avenue.
Modification of Premise Application from
Celli, Inc., dba The East Coast,
223 Linden Street, Approved
William Chelalis, representative for Celli, Inc., stated this modification of premise is only to change
his storage space in the basement of the building. He stated the public does not have access to this
area.
Judge Lane approved the modification of premise application from Celli, Inc., dba The East Coast,
223 Linden Street.
Transfer of Ownership of The 415, 415 South Mason Street,
from Mason Street Five, LLC, to Ocean’s 18, LLC, Approved
Debra Ryan, representative for Ocean’s 18, LLC, stated she has been in the restaurant business for 30
years. Matt Stanley, also representing Ocean’s 18, LLC, stated he has been the assistant manager at
Snooze for 11 years and that he has recently completed alcohol service training. Ms. Ryan stated there
will be no changes to the premises, only a few menu changes. She stated they will keep the same hours,

the front of house staff of which 80% are involved in the sale and service of alcohol. Mr. Stanley
stated he has TIPs training scheduled for employees Monday May 2nd. He stated there will always be
a manager on duty and that they will card anyone ordering an alcoholic beverage that appears to be
under the age of 40 and that they must provide valid identification.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership The 415, 415 South Mason Street, from Mason Street
Five, LLC, to Ocean’s 18, LLC.
Hearing on a New Application from Taste and Savor Wine Bar, LLC, dba
Taste and Savor Wine Bar, 3581 East Harmony Road, Suite 130, Approved
James Ward, representative for Taste and Savor Wine Bar, LLC, was sworn. He stated he and his wife
will primarily be on premise and that they intend to hire a manager. Mr. Ward stated he has completed
alcohol server training and will require all employees to successfully complete training prior to being
allowed to serve alcohol.
Ellyn Just, representative for Aggie Agency, LLC, was sworn. She briefly described her petitioning
process and that they indicate strong support for this application.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2018-009 approving a beer and wine license from Taste and Savor
Wine Bar, LLC, dba Taste and Savor Wine Bar, 3581 East Harmony Road, Suite 130.
Other Business

Wine & Liquor Specials, LLC, to O&P, LLC, Approved
Brandon Sandburg, attorney representing O&P, LLC, stated they are currently operating under a
temporary permit and that Mat Dinsmore is available to answer any questions the Authority may have.
In response to questions from the Authority, Mr. Dinsmore described the changes he intends to
improve security. He detailed training employees are required to complete.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Wine and Liquor Specials, 2439 South College
Avenue, Suite 108 from Wine & Liquor Specials, LLC to O&P, LLC.
