CLG standing requires Fort Collins to maintain a Landmark Preservation Commission composed of members of which a minimum of 40% meet federal standards for professional experience from preservation-related disciplines, including, but not limited to, historic architecture, architectural history, archaeology, and urban planning. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF DECEMBER 19, 2018. The purpose of this item is to approve the minutes from the December 19, 2018 regular meeting of the Landmark Preservation Commission. REVISIONS TO MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 14 (LANDMARK PRESERVATION) PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this item is to seek a recommendation from the Landmark Preservation Commission to City Council regarding proposed revisions to the Municipal Code Chapter 14, which will implement recommendations for improvements to standards and processes that apply to historic resources. These revisions are a result of the 2017-2018 Historic Preservation Codes and Processes Review, which resulted in proposed updates intended to provide greater clarity and predictability in all regulations governing historic resources. City Council will consider the proposed revisions on February 19, 2019. APPLICANT: City of Fort Collins 3. REQUEST FOR RECOMMENDATION REGARDING KFCG The Commission will hear a presentation from City Staff regarding the “Keep Fort Collins Great” (KFCG) tax and consider making a recommendation to Council. • OTHER BUSINESS • ADJOURNMENT
