Introductions 2. Approval of September Minutes Motion to Approve – Miller Second - Hueber 3. Open Discussion General Public None 4. New Business a. COD Alignment – Christine Macrina Christine gave a brief overview of City Council’s Budgeting for Outcomes plan. They are currently working on the budget for 2015-2016 and are always making adjustments based on feedback. They value all thoughts and feedback from Boards and Commissions, as well as the general community. b. Outgoing Commission Members (Arndt & Klender) City Council has received seven applications to fill these two openings and interviews have been scheduled. c. Commission Officers Please consider nominating yourself, or another member, for commission officers in January. New members may be interested in holding an office. 5. Old Business a. Person First Festival – Coon Jeff Coon gave a quick overview of the Person First Festival. He noted that beginning in 2016, the PFF is looking at Old Town Square as a potential venue. The square will be undergoing renovations beginning early 2015 and while the work may not be done for September 2015, it would certainly be the prime location after everything is completed. He also noted that vendor feedback was overall positive, although some noted that they weren’t capturing a new audience. The committee is brainstorming ways to improve that aspect of the festival and are looking forward to 2015. b. Mayor’s Awards Summary – Hueber Hettie Hueber recapped the Mayor’s Awards and presented some improvements for next year. c. COD Work Plan – Cozzens The Board decided to review the alignment documents that Christine Macrina provided and dig into the work plan at December’s meeting. 6. Community News and Updates 7.
