A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held December 4, 2014 in Municipal Court, 215
North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from November 19, 2014.
Show Cause Hearing for Jay's Bistro Ft. Collins, LLC,
dba Jay's Bistro,135 West Oak Street, Postponed to December 17, 2014
Judge Lane postponed Jay's Bistro Ft. Collins, LLC, dba Jay's Bistro, 135 West Oak Street to December
17, 2014 to allow Assistant City Attorney Scurlock and the attorney for Jay's Bistro Ft. Collins, LLC to
discuss a possible disposition.
Show Cause Hearing for Jeer, Inc., dba
Everyday Stores, 949 South Taft Hill Road, Stipulation Agreement Approved
Mark North, representative for Jeer, Inc., stated he has had an opportunity to review the stipulation
agreement. Mr. North stated they require extensive training of their staff and that this employee choose
to ignore the reminder to check for identification. He stated the employee was immediately terminated.
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 14 day suspension, 5 days served ($200 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 9 days held in
abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. Section 12-47-901(1)(a.5), prohibiting the service of an alcohol
beverage to a person under the age of twenty-one years on October 30, 2014.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented
for Jeer, Inc., dba Everyday Stores, 949 South Taft Hill Road.

Show Cause Hearing for Lilly -Julian, Inc., & 7-Eleven, Inc., dba
Seven Eleven, 430 Remington Street, Stipulation Agreement Approved
Faiq Majeed, representative for Lilly Julian, Inc., & 7-Eleven, Inc., stated he has had an opportunity to
review the stipulation agreement. Mr. Majeed stated employees are required to complete extensive
training and that their point of sale system that the employee scanned the wrong bar code on the
Colorado drivers license. He stated the employee has been indefinitely suspended and will likely be
terminated.
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 14 day suspension, 5 days served ($200 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 9 days held in
abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. Section 12-47-901(1)(a.5), prohibiting the service of an alcohol
beverage to a person under the age of twenty-one years on October 30, 2014.

for Lilly Julian, Inc., & 7-Eleven, Inc., dba Seven Eleven, 430 Remington Street.
Show Cause Hearing for T. James Dunn, dba
Jim's Wings, 1205-C West Elizabeth Street, Stipulation Agreement Approved
Jun Dunn, owner, stated he has had an opportunity to review the stipulation agreement. Mr. Dunn stated
the employee was demoted and that he has been kept as an employee to be an example to the others in
the store.
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 14 day suspension, 5 days served ($228.26 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 9 days held
in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. Section 12-47-901(1)(a.5), prohibiting the service of an alcohol
beverage to a person under the age of twenty-one years on October 30, 2014.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented
for T. James Dunn, dba Jim's Wings, 1205-C West Elizabeth Street.

Cheba Hut Toasted Subs,104 East Laurel Street,
Stipulation Agreement Approved
Nicholas Pratt, representative for Dreamscape, LLC, stated he has had an opportunity to review the
stipulation agreement. He stated the employee that sold to the underage person was immediately
terminated and will not be reinstated until they complete training.
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 14 day suspension, 5 days served ($5200 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 9 days held in
abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. Section 12-47-901(1)(a.5), prohibiting the service of an alcohol
beverage to a person under the age of twenty-one years on October 30, 2014.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented
for Dreamscape, LLC, dba Cheba Hut Toasted Subs, 104 East Laurel Street.
