A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held November 19, 2014 in Municipal Court,
215 North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Auuroval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from November 6, 2014.
Transfer of Ownership of Ingredient from
Ingredient Ft. Collins, LLC to MBR, LLC,
101 South College Avenue and Trade Name Change to Rare Italian. Approved
Patrick McGaughran, representative for MBR, LLC, briefly described his background and that the
proposed restaurant will be sit down dining. He stated they are making changes to the premises and that
those changes are shown on the diagram submitted with the application.
Daniel Carpenter, manager applicant, stated he will incorporate Rio Grande's serving protocols; any
patron ordering alcohol who appears to be under the age of 35 will be required to present a valid ID. He
stated he has a current copy of the liquor code on premise and that he is familiar with it.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Ingredient from Ingredient Pt. Collins, LLC to MBR,
LLC, 101 South College Avenue and Trade Name Change to Rare Italian.

Hearing on a New Application from Danger Monday Productions, LLC,
for a Hotel -Restaurant Liquor License at
Nick's of Fort Collins,1100 South College Avenue, Approved
Jim Beimford, attorney representing Danger Monday Productions, LLC, stated they were ready to
proceed.
Nick Doyle, representative for Danger Monday Productions, LLC, was sworn. He stated this will be a
family style restaurant and that he hopes to open mid January. Mr. Doyle stated he anticipates his gross
sale of food to be approximately 70%. He stated he has a revised diagram to submit for the Judge and
the City to consider. Mr. Doyle stated the patio is an addition to this property and that the patio is visible
from inside the restaurant. He stated he will be hiring approximately 40 employees with a couple of
assistant managers and supervisors. Mr. Doyle stated all employees will be required to be TIP's trained.
He stated any patron ordering alcohol will be required to produce a valid ID if they appear to be under
the age of 40. Mr. Doyle stated if an employee is found in violation of the liquor code they will be
immediately terminated.
Kelly Pietrs, representative for Esquire Petitioning, LLC, was sworn. She briefly described the petitioning
process. Ms. Pietrs stated they made sure they got a wide variety of ages to sign the petition. She stated
that this petition shows strong support for this application.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2014-024 approving the hotel -restaurant liquor license from Danger
Monday Productions, LLC dba Nick's of Fort Collins, 1100 South College Avenue.
