A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held October 15, 2014 in Municipal Court, 215
North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.
Staff in attendance: Bromvyn Scurlock, Assistant City Attorney
David Lindsay, Liquor Enforcement Officer
Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from October 15, 2014.
2015 Meeting Schedule
Judge Lane approved the 2015 Meeting Schedule.
Transfer of Ownership of Amici Pizza from
Running Sun, LLC, to Totally 80's Pizza, (LLC),
Alex Morgan, representative for Totally 80's Pizza, (LLC), stated he has made only cosmetic changes to
the premises. He stated all his employees will be over the age of 18. Mr. Morgan stated anyone who
orders an alcoholic beverage who appears to be under the age of 50 will be carded. He stated any
employee found in violation of the liquor code will be immediately terminated. Mr. Morgan stated he has
a current copy of the liquor code on premise.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Amici Pizza from Running Sun, LLC, to Totally 80's
Pizza, (LLC), 1717 South College Avenue and Trade Name Change to Totally 80's Pizza.

Hearing on a New Application from Choice City Drug, Inc.,
for a liquor licensed drugstore at City Drug, 209 North College Avenue, Approved
Bernhard Wilkins, representative for Choice City Drug, Inc., was sworn. He stated he will be providing
alcoholic beverages that are in keeping with the items they already have for sale in the store. Mr. Wilkins
stated they are only going to designate approximately 400 square feet to a liquor display. He stated the
storage area is locked and they have a security system since they are a fully functioning pharmacy. Mr.
Wilkins stated they will not be changing their hours of operation. He stated every patron purchasing
alcohol be be required to present a valid ID. Mr. Wilkins stated any employee found in violation of th
eliquor code will be immediately terminated. He stated he has a current copy of the liquor code on
premise.
Tina la Tina Scott, representative for Oedipus, Inc., was sworn. She briefly described the petitioning
process. Ms. Scott stated the individual circulating the petition had recently done a petition for the same
class of license, therefore was familiar with the uniqueness of this class of license. She stated this petition
indicates the issuance of this license.
Mr. Wilkins stated his business neighbors were in support of this application. He tendered a letter of
support from Scrumpy's.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2014 - 23 approving a liquor licensed drugs store license application from
Choice City Drug, Inc., dba City Drug, 209 North College Avenue.
