Combining Mayor’s Awards with Human Relations and Women’s Commission ‐ Coon: We did receive an email about this from Miles Crane, starting in 2014. Discussion. Hueber, this might be a step backward for the City. The HR Commission does intersect with the COD, but not totally. The COD has a special mission. The Awards ceremony last fall was terrific. We give 7 awards and the month is Disabilities Awareness month. Possibly we could seek other ways to collaborate. Jeff will take this back. And, we will also offer to collaborate and partner on some other items. Maybe we could attend more of the other boards and commission meetings. Huber moved that we recommend maintaining the current awards. Miller seconded the motion. Unanimous (7‐0): Coon, Devereaux, Luna, Hueber, Robinson, Arndt, and Miller. d. Coon attended Women’s Commission breakfast mixer. Coon sat at the affordable housing table. Ross Cunniff sat in on that session. No new details. e. Huber will not be here for July regular meeting. Cheryl Distaso will send the letter PTAG wrote to Coon. Jeff will write the letter of support. Resolution: We recommended that the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland pursue integration of both fixed route and para‐transit operations. Arndt moved to adopt the resolution. Miller seconded. Unanimous—7‐0 vote. b. Affordable Housing Update/Discussion. Mark Beck to present. Discussion. Cozzens suggested that we tighten up the code. That is more effective because then all builders have to build in. The video didn’t work. Ethan sent us the link on YouTube. Next Meeting: June 27th. Subcommittee meets June 13th.
