A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on April 1, 2013 in Municipal Court, 215
North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Show Cause Hearing for Night Line, LLC, dba
Casa de Ins Amigos, 1015 South Taft Hill Road,
Stipulation Agreement Approved
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served ($200 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 10 days held
in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-901(1)(a.5)(I), permitting the sale or service of alcohol
beverages to a person under the age of 21 years.
Judy Deitchler, representative for Night Line, LLC, stated the employee was immediately terminated
and that they have had a liquor license for over ten years and have never had a violation.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as
presented for Night Line, LLC, dba Casa de los Amigos, 1015 South Taft Hill Road.
Show Cause Hearing for Singh Stores, Inc., dba
Everyday Stores, 949 South Taft Hill Road,
Stipulation Agreement Approved
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock sununarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served ($200 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 10 days held
in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-901(1)(a.5)(I), permitting the sale or service of alcohol
beverages to a person under the age of 21 years.
Gurbinder Virk, representative for Singh Stores, Inc., stated the employee that sold to the underage
operative was immediately terminated and that all employees will be retrained.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as
presented for Singh Stores, Inc., dba Everyday Stores, 949 South Taft Hill Road.

Pizza Hut Restaurant, 2567 South Shields Street,
Stipulation Agreement Approved
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served ($200 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 10 days held
in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-901(1)(a.5)(I), permitting the sale or service of alcohol
beverages to a person under the age of 21 years.
Stephanie Leclerc, representative for American Pizza Partners, L.P., stated the employee that sold to
the underage operative was immediately terminated. In response to a question from the Authority, Ms.
Leclerc briefly described the training that employees involved with the sale and service of alcohol is
required to attend.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as
presented for American Pizza Partners, L.P., dba Pizza Hut Restaurant, 2567 South Shields Street.

beverages to a person under the age of 21 years.
Jim Dunn, owner of Jim's Wings, stated the employee that sold to the underage operative was
immediately terminated.

presented for Jim's Wings, 1205-C West Elizabeth Street.

Castillon's Mexican Restaurant, 4010 South College Avenue
Stipulation Agreement Approved
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served with 10 days held in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S.
12-47-901(1)(a.5)(I), permitting the sale or service of alcohol beverages to a person under the age of 21
years.
John Castillon, representative for J.C. Restaurants II, LLC, stated that the employee that sold to the
underage operative was immediately terminated. He stated all his employees involved in the sale and
service of alcohol will be required to complete TIP's training.

Stipulation Agreement Approved
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served with 10 days held in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S.
12-47-901(1)(a.5)(I), permitting the sale or service of alcohol beverages to a person under the age of 21
years.
Mr. Hang, owner of Little Saigon Cafe, stated he understood the stipulation agreement and agrees with
it.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as
presented for Little Saigon Cafe, 3500 South College Avenue.

Raintree Athletic Club, 2555 South Shields Street,
Simulation Agreement Approved
Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served ($200 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 10 days held
in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-901(1)(a.5)(I), permitting the sale or service of alcohol
beverages to a person under the age of 21 years.
Martin Johns, representative for Raintree Athletic Club, LLC, stated issues that lead to this violation
have been addressed. He stated the employee that sold to the underage operative was immediately
terminated.

presented for Raintree Athletic Club, LLC, dba Raintree Athletic Club, 2555 South Shields Street.

Noodles & Company, 3519 South College Avenue,

Assistant City Attorney Scurlock summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated the Licensee has
agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served ($200 fine paid in lieu of suspension), with 10 days held
in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-901(l)(a.5)(I), permitting the sale or service of alcohol
beverages to a person under the age of 21 years.
Kin DeLuca, representative for The Noodle Shop Company - Colorado, stated the employee that sold
to the underage operative was immediately terminated. She briefly outlined efforts to retrain employees
regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as
presented for The Noodle Shop Company - Colorado, dba Noodles & Company, 3519 South College
Avenue.

Transfer of Ownership of Fox Bar,
6324 South College Avenue from Fox Bar, LLC to
Kong, Inc., and Trade Name Change to
Kong Bar, Approved
Tony Campana, representative for Kong, Inc., briefly described the changes they are making the
premises. He stated they will be building a higher fence around the patio on the southeast corner of the
building to mitigate noise issues neighbors have had in the past. Mr. Campana stated that all employees
will be required to maintain TIP's certification. He stated they will be licensing the patio on the front
of the building.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Fox Bar, 6324 South College Avenue from Fox Bar,
LLC to Kong, Inc., and Trade Name Change to Kong Bar.
