Guests: Barbara Faunce and Brian Payne
Called to Order: 12:26 pm
1. Introductions: Guests, Board Members and City Liaisons introduced themselves.
2. Approval of Minutes from September 26, 2013. Hueber moved to approve. Miller
seconded.
3. Open Discussion General Public:
a) Need the T‐coil in hearing aids to use the hearing loop. If a person doesn’t wear
hearing aids, they will need to wear the headphones. It is very effective.
b) Discussion of next meeting. January 23rd. We may have an informal social to be
determined.
4. New Business:
a) Feedback on Mayor’s Awards. Good feedback on the caterer. We could refine the
nomination process a bit. We had a lot of nominations this year.
b) KRFC radio interview with Mike Devereaux and Jeff Coon. Bob Overbeck
interviewed them about the COD. We will try to get the podcast and Terry’s video
for our January meeting.
c) Jeni Arndt will attend the City Social Sustainability Gap Analysis meeting on
November 18th.
5. Old Business
a) Update on the ASI affordable/accessible housing issue.
6. Community News and Updates
a) Rose Luna updated us on the Boards and Commissions Recognition dinner.
Michele Miller and Tommie Klender also attended.
7. Adjourn
Meeting adjourned at 1:16. Jeni Arndt moves to adjourn. Michelle Miller seconded.
