A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held July 3, 2014 in Municipal Court, 215 North
Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that both parties have agreed to this postponement to August 7, 2014.
She stated they are still working towards a stipulation agreement.
Registration of Jenna McDermott as
Manager of Ingredient,
101 South College Avenue, Approved
Jenna McDermott, manager applicant, stated she recently became the manager at this location. She
briefly described the training she has received and that is required of all employees. Ms. McDermott
stated any employee found in violation of the liquor code is immediately terminated. She stated she has
a current copy of the liquor code on premise. Ms. McDermott stated she will provide Deputy City Clerk
Jensen with proof of her name change.
Judge Lane approved the registration of Jenna McDermott as the registered manager of Ingredient, 101
South College Avenue.

Registration of Joseph Quinn as Manager of
Buffalo Wild Wings, #122,
150 East Harmony Road, Approved
Joseph Quinn, manager applicant, stated he has recently completed ServSafe training and that all his
experience in the sale and service of alcohol have occurred within Colorado. He stated he supervises 78
employees. Mr. Quinn stated he works between 50-70 hours. He stated employees must card every
patron that orders an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Quinn stated any employee found in violation of the liquor
code would more than likely be terminated. He stated they have a current copy of the liquor code.
Judge Lane approved the registration of Joseph Quinn as manager of Buffalo Wild Wings, #122, 150
East Harmony Road.
Transfer of Ownership of Castillon's Mexican Restaurant,
4010 South College Avenue, from
J.C. Restaurants II, LLC to Margaritas Enterprises, Inc., and
Trade Name Change to 3 Margaritas, Approved
Ericka Kaiser, attorney representative for Margaritas Enterprises, Inc., stated she was here to clarify Mr.
Morales' criminal history. In response to questions from Ms. Kaiser, Mr. Morales described the new
premises. He stated they have had some liquor code violations including serving an underage, the last
violation was in 2006 in the City of Fort Collins. Mr. Morales stated they card every patron that orders
alcohol. He stated he is familiar with how to handle staffing a patio. Mr. Morales stated the patio is visible
from inside the building. In response to a question from Assistant City Attorney Fink, he stated they have
trainers that spends time one and one with a new employee with respect to the service of alcohol.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Castillon's Mexican Restaurant, 4010 South College
Avenue, from J.C. Restaurants II, LLC to Margaritas Enterprises, Inc., and trade name change to 3
Margaritas.
Hearing on a New Application from
Butters A.M. Eatery, LLC,
for hotel -restaurant liquor license at
1220 West Elizabeth Street, Unit B. Approved
Jcrisol Hato, representative for Butters A.M. Eatery, LLC, was sworn. He stated they have had many
requests to serve alcohol. Mr. Hato stated all his managers have completed Serve Safe classes. Mr. Hato
stated he has had experience dealing with visibly intoxicated patrons. He stated they have a current copy
of the liquor code on premise.
Wesley Browning, manager, was sworn. He stated he will be responsible for training all employees with
the sale and service of alcohol. Mr. Browning stated they are open 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. He stated he
anticipates 60% of their gross sales come from the sale of full meals. Mr. Browning stated they will card

every patron that orders alcohol. He stated any employee found in violation of the liquor code will be
immediately terminated.
Mr. Browning stated he circulated the petitions and that he received many comments in support of this
application.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2014-16 approving an application from Butters A.M. Eatery, LLC for
a hotel -restaurant liquor license at Butters A.M. Eatery, 1220 West Elizabeth Street, Unit B.
