A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authoritywas held on November 8, 2010 in Municipal Court,
215 North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.
Staff in attendance: Bronwyn Scurlock, Assistant City Attorney
Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk
Robert Younger, Liquor Enforcement Officer
Agenda Review /
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated there were no changes to the agenda.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from October 18, 2010.
Registration of Mark D. Havens as
Mark D. Havens, manager applicant, stated everyone at Cafe Vino is 'nP's certified. He stated he is on
premise 60-65 hours/week and that his clientele tends to be older than college -aged students. Mr.
Havens stated theyemploythe secret shopper service and have passed everytest. He stated he regularly
emphasizes the seriousness of serving alcohol and has had no issues with visible intoxication. Mr.
Havens stated he has a current copy of the liquor code on premise.
Judge Lane approved the registration of Mark D. Havens as manager of Cafe Vino, 1200 South College
Avenue.
Request from 1200 South Coffee, LLC to
Change, Alter, or Modify the Licensed Premises at
1200 South College Avenue, Suite 207, Approved
Mark D. Havens, representative for 1200 South Coffee, LLC, stated they are adding a small office area
to their licensed premise to allow for banquets. He stated they will adequately staff each event for the
banquet room Mr. Havens stated he has received only a few comments regarding the posting for the
modification of which all were positive.
November 8, 2010
Judge Lane approved the request from 1200 South Coffee, LLC, dba Cafe Vino to change, alter, or
modify the licensed premises at 1200 South College Avenue, Suite 207.
