1. Email Responses- YAB received email responses from council members

opinions and concerns of Southeast Rec Center. Council voiced that they would
include youth input, although there appeared to be some confusion over what
information was presented to YAB.
Other Business:
1. Hip Hop Expo Booth Ideas- March 8: YAB discussed a hosting a booth at
the Expo possibly in conjunction with Alliance for Suicide Prevention. Focusing
on creating an interactive booth, YAB brainstormed potential ideas including:
arts and crafts (Unicorn Painting), trivia and other visual programs. Creating a
large board for people to respond to a prompt such as “Something I love about
myself is…” was another idea. Megan will explore the Because I Said I Would
Project to see if it can be incorporated.
2. Upcoming Council Agenda- YAB was briefed on future topics the City Council
will address. Some topics of interest included State of City (Feb 13), Urban Animals
(Mar 4) and Amendment 6-ADA Compliance (Mental Health Angle).
