Regular Meeting - December 20, 2010

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on December 20, 2010 in Municipal
Court, 215 North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Robert Younger, Liquor Enforcement Officer
Kyle Bendzsa, Fort Collins Police Officer
Agenda Review
DeputyCity Clerk Jensen stated Becky Ellis as Manager of Cambria Suites, 2921 E. Harmony Road is
not present and has been continued to February 7, 2011.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from December 6, 2010.
Request from Harjun, Inc., dba
Star of India to Change, Alter, or Modify the
Licensed Premises at 2900 Harvard Street, Suite B, Approved
Iqbal Cheema, representative for Harjun, Inc., stated they are asking to add a patio to their licensed
premise. He stated the entire front of the restaurant is windows and will easily be able to monitor the
patio. Mr. Cheema stated they will also have wait staff monitoring the patio. In response to a question
from the Authority, Mr. Cheema stated the patio is enclosed by a wrought iron fence.
Judge Lane approved the request from Harjun, Inc., dba Star of India to change, alter, or modify the
licensed premises at 2900 Harvard Street, Suite B.
Transfer of Ownenrship of SporsCasters Bar & Grill,
165 boardwalk Drive from Stott Gracey, LLC, to
Taps Sports Bar, LLC and Trade Name Change to Taps Sports Bar, Approved
Mark Spring, representative for Taps Sports Bar, LLC, briefly described his background. He stated he
is familiar with the Colorado Liquor Code and has completed multiple training classes regarding the sale
and service of alcohol. Mr. Spring stated he is only making cosmetic changes to establishment. In

response to a question from the Authority, he stated he will have wait staff on the patio continuously.
He stated they will have a full menu and have a manager on site at all times. Mr. Spring stated he will
require all employees trained prior to opening and require quarterly training. He stated he has had
experience dealing with visibly intoxicated patrons. Mr. Spring stated any employee found in violation
of the liquor code is automatically terminated. He stated any patron that appears to be under the age
of 35 is carded.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Sportscasters Bar & Grill, 165 Boardwalk Drive
from Stott Gracey, LLC to Taps Sports Bar, LLC, and trade name change to Taps Sports Bar.
