A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authoritywas held on June 21, 2010 in Municipal Court, 215
North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that there are no changes to the agenda.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from June 7, 2010.
Show Cause Hearing for Big Horn Club & Grill, Inc., dba
Cork Club & Grill313 West Drake Road, Stipulation Agreement Approved
Assistant City Attorney LopezFilkins summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated that the
Licensee has agreed to 10 day suspension, 3 days served, with 7 days held in abeyance for 1 year for
violating the Colorado Code of Regulations Section 47-900, conduct of establishment, by allowing
rowdiness, disturbances or activities offensive to the senses of the average citizen to occur on its
licensed premises.
Angela and Simon Ryu offered a letter of apology to the Authority.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as
presented for Big Horn, Club & Grill, Inc., dba The Cork Club & Grill, 313 West Drake Road.
Request from The Fogo Group, LLC, dba
Rodizio Grill, to Temporarily Change, Alter, or Modify the
Licensed Premises at 200 Jefferson, on September 4, 2010, Approved
Ryan Houdek, representative for The Fogo Group, LLC, briefly described the event. Mr. Houdek
stated he will have staff monitoring the premises to insure that no-one leaves with an alcoholic beverage.
He stated this is a new event this year. Mr. Houdek stated he expects 200-300 people throughout the
entire event. He stated he received several positive comments in support of this application.
Judge Lane approved the request from The Fogo Group, LLC, dba Rodizio Grill, to temporarilychange,
alter, or modify the licensed premises at 200 Jefferson Street, on September 4, 2010.
Request from The Criterion Group, LLC, dba
The Melting Pot, to Temporarily Change, Alter, or Modify the Licensed Premises at
334 East Mountain Avenue, August 20-22, 2010, Approved
Ryan Houdek, representative for The Criterion Group, LLC, brieflydescribed the event. He stated this
is the fifth year doing this event in conjunction with NewWest Fest. Mr. Houdek stated this event will
be conducted in the same manner as previous years. He stated that staff have been trained to identify
visibly intoxicated individuals. Mr. Houdek stated he received several positive comments in support of
this application. He stated he will not be allowing patrons to get on the roof.
Judge Lane approved the request from The Criterion Group, LLC, dba The Melting Pot, to Temporarily
Change, Alter, or Modify the Licensed Premises at 334 East Mountain Avenue, August 20-22, 2010.
Hearing on a New Application from Jada Foods, LLC, for a
hotel -restaurant liquor license at Nordy's Bar & Grill,
151 North College Avenue, Approved
Les Nordhagen, representative for Jada Foods, LLC, was sworn. Mr. Nordhagen briefly described the
type of establishment this will be. He stated that on Friday and Saturday nights they do not intend to
stay open past 11:00 p.m., and during the rest of the week not past 10:00 p.m. Mr. Nordhagen stated
their alcohol sales runs approximately 11% of their total sales. He stated they did not have enough
room to have a patio on the sidewalk Mr. Nordhagen stated his son, Eric Nordhagen, will be the
manager. He stated theywill have approximately30 employees working in the front of the house. He
stated any employee found in violation of the liquor code will be immediately terminated. Mr.
Nordhagen stated they have a current copy of the liquor code to be maintained on premise.
Mr. Nordhagen briefly described the petitioning process. He stated in general he received positive
comments in support of this application.
Judge Lane noted that there was no-one in the audience to speak for or against this application.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 10-03 approving an application from Jada Foods, LLC for a hotel -
restaurant liquor license at Nordy's Bar & Grill, 151 North College Avenue.
