Regular Meeting - June 15, 2009

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on June 15, 2009 in Municipal Court,
215 North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that there were no changes to the agenda.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from June 1, 2009.
Request from Slow Meaux's, LLC, dba
Mo Jeaux's Bar & Grill to Change, Alter, or Modify the
Licensed Premises at 820 City Park Avenue for July 4, 2009, Approved
Dixon Walne, representative for Slow Meaux's, LLC, briefly described the proposed modifications.
He stated they will only have live music until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Walne stated they will have counters
at each entrance to control the number of patrons in the building and the outside venue. He stated
that they are planning on having 100 patrons below what the fire marshal has said they could have.
Mr. Walne will make sure the number of patrons inside the building does not exceed the maximum
occupancy as set by Poudre Fire Authority.
Judge Lane approved the request from Slow Meaux's, LLC, dba Mo Jeaux's Bar & Grill to change,
alter or modify the licensed premises at 820 City Park Avenue for July 4, 2009.

Hearing on a New Application from Mini Mart, Inc.,
for a 3.2% beer - off premise license at
Loaf `N Jug #19, 150 West Drake Road, Approved
Kristen Jackson, manager, and Gary McChesney, district advisor, were sworn. Ms. Jackson briefly
described the training she receives from Mini Mart, Inc., and that they have hired an outside
organization that does random checks on their stores to make sure all liquor laws are adhered to. Mr.
McChesney stated any employee found in violation of the liquor code is immediately terminated.
Ms. Jackson stated they require their employees to id any patron that appears to be 30 years of age
or younger. She stated employees receive training in the sale and service of alcohol on a regular
basis.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2009-07 approving the application from Mini Mart, hic., for a 3.2%
beer - off premise license at Loaf `N Jug, 150 West Drake.
