A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on November 16, 2009 in Municipal
Court, Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M , Lane presiding.

Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that there are no changes to the agenda.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from November 2, 2009.
Approval of 2010 Meeting Schedule
Judge Lane approved the 2010 Meeting Schedule for the Fort Collins Liquor Licensing Authority.
Show Cause Hearing for Samuel Glen, Inc., dba Steak -Out Saloon,
152 West Mountain, Stipulation Agreement Approved
David Herrera, attorney representing Samuel Glen, Inc., stated theyhave admitted to the violation. Mr.
Herrerra briefly described new procedures Samuel Glen, Inc., have implemented to prevent
overcrowding in the future.
Assistant City Attorney LopezFilkins summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated that the
Licensee has agreed to a 21 day suspension, 7 days served (paid fine in lieu of suspension $3287.43),
with 14 days held in abeyance for 1 year, for violating Colorado Regulation 47-900(A), conduct of
establishment (overcrowding).
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as
presented for Samuel Glen, Inc., dba Steak -Curt Saloon, 152 West Mountain.

Hearing on a New Application from
Snooze Ft. Fun, LLC, for a hotel -restaurant liquor license at
Snooze, 144 West Mountain Avenue, Approved
Jon and Adam Schlegel, representatives for Snooze Ft. Fun, LLC, were sworn. Mr. Jon Schlegel briefly
described the two locations theyhave in Denver. Mr. Adam Schlegel stated that he is involved with the
administrative work with respect to the restaurant. Mr. Jon Schlegel stated that prior to having the
Snooze restaurants, he held several liquor licenses as a manager. He stated he has never had a liquor
code violation. In response to questions f romthe Authority, Mr. Adam Schlegel described the premises.
He stated all the managers will be TIP's certified, who will then be responsible for training the staff.
Mr. Adam Schlegel stated anypatron that appears to be 35 years of age or younger is carded whenever
ordering alcohol. He stated that any employee found in violation of the liquor code will likely be
terminated. Mr. Adam Schlegel stated theywill have a hostess stand on the back patio and that the back
patio will only have an emergency exit, that all patrons will have to leave or enter the patio from the
restaurant.
Mr. Adam Schlegel briefly reviewed the petitioning process, stating that the application was well
received and had many positive comments in support.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2009-19 approving an application from Snooze Ft. Fun, LLC, for a
hotel -restaurant liquor license at Snooze, 144 West Mountain Avenue.
Tastings Permit Application from
Akshar Enterprises, Inc., dba Market Center Liquors,
902 West Drake Road, Unit 1, Approved
Ameet Patel, representative for Akshar Enterprises, Inc., was sworn. Mr. Patel stated he has received
several enthusiastic supporters of this application. He stated he will run each tasting to be held on
Wednesday. Mr. Patel stated he will only allow a patron with proper identification to taste. He stated
he is currentlyTIP's certified.
Judge Lane approved the Tastings Permit Application fromAkshar Enterprises, Inc., dba Market Center
Liquors, 902 West Drake Road, Unit 1.
