A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on May 4, 2009 in Municipal Court,
215 North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that there were no changes to the agenda.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from April 13, 2009.
Request from Bowl Fort Collins, LLC, dba
Chipper's Lanes to Change, Alter, or Modify the
Licensed Premises at 217 West Horsetooth Road, Approved
Matt Hoeven, representative for Bowl Fort Collins, LLC, stated they will have an employee
specifically designated to the patio and volleyball court area to monitor alcohol consumption. He
stated they confiscate over 100 fake id's a year at both bowling alleys. Mr. Hoeven stated he has
received many positive comments in support of this application. He stated that his business
fluctuates season to season and this will alleviate some of that fluctuation. In response to a question
from the Authority, Mr. Hoeven stated he will amend the diagram to show the gate on the outdoor
fence.
Judge Lane approved the request from Bowl Fort Collins, LLC, dba Chipper's Lanes to change, alter,
or modify the licensed premises at 217 West Horsetooth Road.

Show Cause Hearing for Janette's Pharmacy, Inc.,
dba Park Central Liquor,
802 West Mulberry Stipulation Agreement Approved
Assistant City Attorney LopezFilkins stated she has reached a stipulation agreement with Janette's
Pharmacy, Inc.
Joe Fonfara, attorney representing Janette's Pharmacy, Inc., stated Mr. Critchfield has been well
advised as to the salient points of this stipulation agreement.
Assistant City Attorney LopezFilkins summarized the stipulation agreement. She stated that the
Licensee has agreed to a 14 day suspension, 4 days served, with 10 days held in abeyance for 1 year
for violating C.R.S. 12-47- 901(1)(a.5)(I)(permitting the sale of alcohol beverages to a person under
the age of 21 years).
SeanDougherty, representative for BS Investments, Inc., stated he did not fire the employee that sold
to the underage person.
Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as
presented for BS Investments, Inc., dballorth College Discount Liquors, 814 North College Avenue.
