She was wondering how she could be “brought up to speed” on COD business. It was recommended that she visit the fcgov.com website and review minutes from previous meetings. 4. New Business Perry mentioned all the street repair and maintenance around Linden and Jefferson. She says sidewalks and bike paths have been re-routed making this area very inaccessible and dangerous. She also mentioned that the city is installing cobblestone which is difficult to maneuver for individuals with mobility barriers. Schlicting will check into the cobblestone and Cozzens will contact Tracy Dyer and make inquiries. 5. Old Business a. Affordable/Accessible Housing Mike Levy presented the new features on his northerncoloradorentals.com website. There is now a field that asks if the rental is “Handicap Accessible” with a drop down menu to list which features each rental offers for accessibility. He said there were 3 issues with the new system: 1. Getting the word out 2. Managing multiple listings 3. Needing advanced search capabilities Adding advanced search capabilities would solve issue 2, but the next step is to brainstorm a way to get the new feature information out to the general public. b. Periodic Review Questionnaire This is due July 1 st . Please review and send your responses by e-mail to Coon. He will combine the responses into one form. c. E-Bikes on Bike Trails There is a FaceBook page inviting community feedback on this subject. COD members are encouraged to view the page and offer comments, identifying themselves as COD members. Schlicting received an e-mail outlining the conditions of power driven devices on bike trails. He feels they are very limiting and restrictive. Coon will contact the sender of this e-mail and invite them to the next COD meeting. d.
