A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authoritywas held on April 9, 2012 in Municipal Court, 215
North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Registration of Jorel Travis as
Manager of Chuck E. Cheese's,
105 West Prospect Road, Approved
Jorel Travis, manager applicant, briefly discussed her background. She stated any employee found in
violation of the liquor code is immediately terminated. Ms. Travis stated when a patron orders an
alcoholic beverage, that a manager serves it and checks the id. She stated she has not received any
training in the last 5 years, however she agreed to provide the City Clerk's Office with proof of training
for herself within 60 days. Ms. Travis stated she does regularly discuss how to identify visibly
intoxicated patrons and the importance of identifying underage patrons that are ineligible to order
alcohol.
Judge Lane approved the registration of Joel Travis as manager of Chuck E. Cheese's, 105 West
Prospect Road.
Hearing on a New Application from Serious Texas BBQ, LLC,
fora hotel -restaurant liquor license at Serious Texas Bar-B-Q,
1820 North College Avenue, Unit 180, Approved
Randy Williams, attorney representing Serious Texas BBQ, LLC, stated he has a brief presentation. Mr.
Mote was sworn. Mr. Mote stated that this is their 5' location and has worked in every one of their
other establishments. He stated that alcohol sales is less than 5% of their gross sales. Mr. Mote stated
the emphasis is food. He stated this current location has a patio. Mr. Mote stated they have very low
turnover in staff and all are experienced servers. He stated they have recently implemented an id
scanner to facilitate proper id checking of patrons. Mr. Mote stated there have been no violations of
the liquor code within the last year. He stated any employee found in violation of the liquor code is
immediately terminated.

Max Scott, owner of Oedipus, Inc., was sworn. In response to a question from Mr. Williams, Mr. Scott
detailed his background. Mr. Scott stated he received many positive comments in support of this
application.
