Regular Meeting - April 19, 2010

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on April 19, 2010 in Municipal Court,
215 North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that the transfer of ownership of Hamilton's, 214 Linden Street has
been postponed to May 3, 2010.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from April 5, 2010.
Request from Road 34 Deli & Tavern, LLC, dba
Road 34 Bike Bar to Change, Alter, or Modify the
Licensed Premises at 1213 West Elizabeth Street on May 1, 2010, Approved
Will Overbaugh, representative for Road 34 Deli & Tavern, LLCh stated this is the 3'd annual Jump Jam
He stated this year's event will be nearly identical as the last 2 events. Mr. Overbaugh stated that he and
his staff use 2-way radios, and that it is effective in managing the flow of patrons between the outdoor
event and the building. He stated they are very aware of making sure the building is not over capacity.
Mr. Overbaugh stated they will use chain link fencing to enclose the outdoor event.
Judge Lane approved the request from Road 34 Deli & Tavern, LLC dba Road 34 Bike Bar to change,
alter or modify the licensed premises at 1213 West Elizabeth Street on May 1, 2010.
Request from Grandbois Enterprises, LLC dba
Crazy Jack's Saloon, to Change, Alter, or Modify the
Licensed Premises at 6520 South College Avenue on May 28, 2010, Approved
Tom Grandbois, representative from Grandbois Enterprises, LLC, briefly described the event. He
stated the last time he held this event was in 2008 and that there was no issues at that event. Mr.
Grandbois will contact Chad Myers at Poudre Fire Authorityto finalize their occupancy. He will notify
Deputy City Clerk Jensen the result of that contact.

Judge Lane approved the request from Grandbois Enterprises, LLCdba CrazyJack's Saloon, to change,
alter, or modify the licensed premises at 6520 South College Avenue on May 28, 2010.
Transfer of Ownership of Surfside Seven Cafe,
150 North College Avenue from Casco, Inc.,
to Batdog, LLC, Approved
Kim Pettit, representative for Batdog, LLC, detailed the diagram. Judge Lane requested that Ms. Pettit
provide Deputy City Clerk Jensen with measurements for the licensed premises. She stated she will
require all employees to be TIP's trained. Ms. Pettit stated that when she is not on premise, the kitchen
manager and bartenders are responsible. She stated there will be an employee posted at the backdoor
to monitor activity on the back patio. Ms. Pettit stated that the doorman is responsible for checking
id's as well as the bartenders. She stated employees are aware of the signs of visible intoxication and
will not serve a patron that demonstrates those signs. Ms. Pettit stated she does not have a current copy
of the liquor code on premise.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Surfside Seven Cafe,150 North College Avenue from
Casco, Inc., to Batdog, LLC.
