Council Liaison: Ray Martinez 11 Staff Liaison: Aimee Jensen A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on October 18, 2004 in Municipal Court, Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding. Staff in attendance: Teresa Ablao, Assistant City Attorney Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Robert Younger, Liquor Enforcement Officer AEenda Review Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated there are no changes to the agenda. Request from Suehiro Japanese Restaurant, Inc., dba Suehiro Japanese Restaurant to Change, Alter, or Modify the Licensed Premises at 223 Linden Street, Approved Edward Kendall, representative for Suehiro Japanese Restaurant, hic., briefly described the proposed modification, stating that the addition will increase his seating capacity by 25. He stated he does not have an outdoor patio. Mr. Kendall stated he has received approval from Building Inspection and Poudre Fire Authority. He stated he has received many positive comments from his customers. Judge lane approved the request from Suehiro Japanese Restaurant, inc., dba Suehiro Japanese Restaurant to change, alter or modify the licensed premises at 223 Linden Street. Transfer of Ownership of Bison Liquors, 1015 West Horsetooth Avenue, #101, from Han Sun Enterprises. LLC, to Bison Liquors. LLC. Approved Carl Ream, attorney representing Bison Liquors, LLC, stated he has brought a translator for his client, Myong Sook Chae. Ms. Chae stated her husband also works in the store. She stated she is in the process of reading the liquor code and completing the TIP's program. Ms. Chae stated she will be responsible for training all new employees. She stated she is aware that she should not sell to patrons that are under 21 years of age, or who are visibly intoxicated. In response to a question from the Authority, Ms. Chae October 18, 2004 described how to determine if someone is intoxicated. She stated she will confiscate any fake id's and turn them over to the police department within 48 hours. Ms. Chae stated that she will card anyone that appears to be younger than 30 years of age. She stated she has attended Liquor Enforcement Officer Younger's training. Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Bison Liquors, 1015 West Horsetooth Avenue, #101, from Han Sun Enterprises, LLC, to Bison Liquors, LLC, contingent upon Mr. Chae providing proof of training within 60 days to Deputy City Clerk Jensen.
