A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on June 9, 2008 in Municipal Court,
Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that the Show Cause Hearing for Shadow Bar, Inc., dba Drunken
Monkey, 151 South College Avenue has been continued to July 7, 2008.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from May 19, 2008.

Hearing on a Change of Location Application from
Knight Line, LLC, to move a hotel -restaurant liquor license from
344 East Foothills Parkway to 1015 South Taft Hill Road, Unit S. Approved
Greg Deitchler, representative for Knight Line, LLC, was sworn. He stated the previous location had
a seating capacityof 90, whereas this location has a seating capactyof 60. Mr. Deitchlerstated theywill
change the menu slightly. He stated they will only be open until 10:00 p.m. Mr. Deitchler stated they
still expect the majority of their sales will still come from the sale of full meals.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2008-11 approving the change of location application fromKnight Line,
LLC to move a hotel -restaurant liquor license from 344 East Foothills Parkwayto 1015 South Taft Hill
Road, Unit S.

Hearing on a New Application from Target Corporation,
for a 3.2% beer - off premise license at Target,
2936 Council Tree Avenue, roved
Roger, the attorney, requested that the Liquor Licensing Authority take judicial notice of the warranty
deed, noting that Target Corporation owns the building at 2936 Council Tree Avenue.
Tyson Buhre, general manager, was sworn. He briefly described the training all staff is required to
complete. Mr. Buhre stated the cash register will not allow an underage employee sell 3.2% beer or that
it is sold to someone underage. He stated they have several security cameras in the parking lot to
monitor. anysuspicious activitythat mayoccur. Mr. Buhre stated he will provide a copyof their training
manual to be reviewed by Liquor Enforcement Officer Younger. He stated that any cashier will be
required to complete training regarding the sale of 3.2% beer.
Rene Malara, 2460 Sunstone Drive, was sworn. She spoke in support of this application.
Ray Jean Young, manager for Office Depot, was swom. She spoke in support of this application.
Daniel Beal, executive team lead for asset protection, was swom. He stated he has a good working
relationship with the Fort Collins Police Department and that the store has a state-of-the-art security
system.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2008-08 approving a new application from Target Corporation, for a
3.2% beer - off premise license at Target, 2936 Council Tree Avenue.
Hearing on a New Application from
Bannthai Restaurant, LLC, for a beer and wine license at
Judge Lane continued this hearing to July 7, 2008.
