Jim Reidhead appearing for owner, Mr. Wykstra, presented a color scheme
for painting 229-235 Jefferson formerly known as Haxton's Garage. These
are two buildings that have always been treated as one. The colors con-
sisted of tones of maroon, pink, lavender, black -blue and white. The
commission discussed various aspects of the petition. It was the gener-
al consensus of the commission that they did not approve of the pastel
lavender and pink. MOTION MADE by Wayne Sundberg was to approve the
color scheme with the exception that the pastels be used sparingly.
SECONDED by Susan McMillan. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and changes in the minutes were
noted.
Commission discussed re-election of officers and appointing two alter-
nate members. It was decided to schedule a special night meeting to
make decisions on these matters in August.
