I. Call to order: 335p.m. by Mr. York
EI. Consideration of the current agenda: Replace sculpture donation item with Work Session discussion.
III. Review of Minutes from the meeting on November 19, 2008
Ms Nevrivy made a motion to accept the Minutes
Ms Francuz seconded the motion
Unanimously Approved
IV. Citizen Participation: None
V. Senior Center Art Donation: Steve Dietemann, of the Senior Center, gave an overview of the donation of the
horse. Artist J.J. Edwards' design, "Blog Pony" was selected by the Senior Center Visual Arts Committee, in an
open call for proposals to adorn the horse. Ms Edwards gave an overview of her concept. Discussion was had.
The goal is to have it installed by August, 2009. Ms Martin passed out evaluation forms and discussed APP's
role. The board filled out evaluation forms.
Mr. Tollison made a motion to accept the `Slog Pony" as a donation to the Senior Center.
Ms Francuz seconded the motion.
Unanimously Approved
VI. Work Session Discussion: Ms Martin and Ms Stilwell led a discussion about the upcoming City Council
Work Session that will take place on Feb. 24, 2009. The APP Program will be reviewed by City Council at the
Work Session. Ivfr. York outlined some points the board could discuss before the Work Session.
VII. 2008 Project Overview: A powerpoint presentation of dhe 2008 completed projects was shown.
VIII. 2008 Annual Report: Ms Martin distributed copies of the 2008 Annual Report and gave an overview of
the contents. Discussion was had, with additions recommended.
IX. Staff Reports: Ms Martin distributed staff reports and gave an overview of projects.
X. Other Business: Ms Francuz showed an article about public art from the Denver newspaper. The closing
of Arts Alive was discussed. Ms Francuz extended appreciation to York, the APP board Chairperson.
XI. Adjournment: Meeting adjourned at 5:16 p.m. by Mr. York
