MINUTES
CITY OF FORT COLLINS
EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT BOARD
A special meeting of the Employees Retirement Baord was called to order by
the Chairman, Mr. John D. Hartman on Monday, June 17, 1974, at 4:00 p.m. The
primary reason for this meeting was the review of one retirement application.
Members Attending: John D. Hartman, Warren Dalke and Charlie D. Cain
Members Absent: Dr. Philip A. Shade and Jack E. Williams
The following application for retirement was presented for approval:
FRED WAAG - Early Retirement Benefit. $61.52 per month, payable
throughout his life, ceasing with the monthly payment
prior to his death.
The motion was made and seconded that we accept Mr. Waag's application.
Motion carried.
As soon as Charlie Cain receives information concerning investments from
Mr. March, he will contact the Chairman, who can set up a regular meeting.
Mr. Cain reported that the acturial study should be received in approximately
ten days. Upon receipt of this report Mr. Cain intends to forward copies to the
committee members. Mr. Cain, also, advised that the "in-house" retirement
committee would be involved with this study.
John Hartman advised there was a job opening for the retirement committee.
We will check to see whose term is expiring.
Charlie Cain advised that there is some argument about police and fire pension
(ex. Lobbying) and he will keep the committee informed about the different things
happening.
Meeting adjourned.
