Regular Meeting - December 3, 2007

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on December 3, 2007 in Municipal
Court, Justice Center, 215 North Mason. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.
Staff in attendance: Teresa Ablao, Assistant City Attorney
Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk
Robert Younger, Liquor Enforcement Officer

Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated there are no changes to the agenda.
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from November 19, 2007.
Registration of Michael Gardner as
Manager of Bennigan's. 2203 South College Avenue, Approved
Michael Gardner, manager applicant, briefly described his background. He stated they do not accept
vertical or paper id's. Mr. Gardner stated he attended TIP's training recently. He stated any
employee found in violation of the liquor code is immediately terminated. Mr. Gardner stated he
will acquire a current copy of the liquor code for the premise.
Judge Lane approved the registration of Michael Gardner as manager of Bennigan's, 2203 South
College Avenue.
Hearing on a New Application from
Titi, Inc., for a hotel -restaurant liquor license at
Ti Bar, 105-107 East Laurel Street, Approved
Chocanong Tongbua, representative for Titi, Inc., was sworn. She stated this establishment will be
a restaurant with 50% of gross sales to come from the sale of full meals. In response to questions
from the Liquor Licensing Authority, Ms. Tongbua described the premise. She stated they will not
accept vertical or paper id's.
December 3, 2007
Senior Assistant City Attorney Ablao expressed concern with the patio area. Ms. Chooanong stated
she will provide Deputy City Clerk Jensen with the encroachment permit and a new diagram.
Ms. Chooanong briefly described the petitioning process. She stated she received many positive
comments in support of this application.
Judge Lane adopted Resolution 2007-20 approving an application from Titi, hic., for a hotel -
restaurant liquor license at Ti Bar, 105-107 East Laurel Street, contingent upon proof of training for
Ms. Chooanong and all her employees is provided to Deputy City Clerk Jensen within 60 days.
