FORT COLLINS SENIOR ADVISORY BOARD
Outreach Program
Wednesday, April 1.2, 1995
On April 12, 1995, the Fort Collins Senior Advisory Board conducted
an Outreach Program, the second one of the year, in Suzy Van Amburg's
gerontology class, HD 301: Perspectives in Gerontology, at 3:00 P. M.
in Room 332, Gifford Building, CSU campus. The following members
attended:

Chair Kay Rios introduced the members of the Senior Advisory Board
to the students in the class and started the program with a brief
history, the purposes and past accomplishments of the SAB. Following
her introductory remarks, Kay then asked members of the SAB to discuss
the following topics:

Following the presentations by the members, Kay opened the meeting
to questions from the class. Many students asked informational
questions about the Senior Advisory Board, but several asked in-depth
questions about complex issues and wanted to know what role the SAB
played in them. The Outreach Program generated much interest and
was terminated only when the bell rang and the room had to be vacated
for the next class.
