A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on January 7, 2008 in Municipal
Court, Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Robert Younger, Liquor Enforcement Officer
Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated the Summary Suspension Hearing for Hodi's Half Note,167 North
College Avenue will be held under "Other Business".
Approval of Minutes
Judge Lane approved the minutes from December 20, 2004, December 6, 2004, November 15, 2004,
November 1, 2004, October 18, 2004, October 4, 2004, September 27, 2004, September 13, 2004,
August 23, 2004, August 9, 2004, July 12, 2004, and December 17, 2007.
Transfer of Ownership of Tailgate Tommy's,
313 West Drake Road, from TT Restaurant, LLC, to
Bi¢ Horn, Club & Grill. Inc., and Trade Name Change to Big Horn, Approved
Adam Thimsen, representative for Big Horn, Club & Grill, Inc., briefly described his background.
He stated he has been in the restaurant business for 25 years and has attended numerous training
regarding the sale and service of alcohol. Mr. Thimsen stated he requires all employees to attend
training on a quarterly basis. He stated with each new employee he spends an hour reviewing the
importance of responsible alcohol service. Mr. Thimsen stated they are not making any changes to
licensed premise. He stated any patron that appears to be under the age of 38 will be carded when
they order an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Thimsen stated any employee found in violation of the liquor
code is immediately terminated. He stated he has a current copy of the liquor code on premise.
Judge Lane approved the transfer of ownership of Tailgate Tommy's, 313 West Drake Road, from
TT Restaurant, LLC, to Big Horn, Club & Grill, Inc., and trade name change to Big Horn.

Summary Suspension Hearing for
Lazy Dog, LLC, dba Hodi's Halfnote,
167 North College Avenue, Stipulation and Order Approved
Zach Wilson, attorney representing Lazy Dog, LLC, stated he has had an opportunity to review the
information with his client and Senior Assistant City Attorney Ablao.
Senior Assistant City Attorney Ablao summarized the agreement. She stated the Licensee has agreed
to a 60 suspension, 30 days served (14 days served, paid fine in lieu of 16 days suspension $2664),
with 30 days held in abeyance for 1 year for violating Colorado Liquor Code Regulation 47-900(A)
on December 14, 2007 and January 1, 2008 (permitting illegal drug use on the licensed premises)
and also violating Colorado Liquor Code 12-47-301(7)(failure to report a change in corporate
structure).
Judge Lane approved the stipulation and order as presented.
