Council Liaison: Ray Martinez Staff Liaison: Aimee Jensen A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on December 17, 2003 in Municipal Court, Justice Center, 201 LaPorte. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding. Staff in attendance: Teresa Ablao, Assistant City Attorney Aimee Jensen, Deputy City Clerk Agenda Review Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated there were no changes to the agenda. Show -Cause Hearing for Ventex, LLC dba Jackson's Store, #311, 1032 West Mountain Avenue, Stipulation Agreement Approved Assistant City Attorney Ablao summarized the stipulation agreement and stated that the Licensee has agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served , with 10 days held in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-901 (1) (a) of the Colorado Liquor Code, permitting the sale or service of alcohol beverages to a person under the age of 21 years. Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented for Jackson's Store #311, 1032 West Mountain Avenue. Show -Cause Hearing for Huang's Brother Corp., dba Jasmine Garden, 2721 South College Avenue Stipulation Agreement Approved Assistant City Attorney Ablao summarized the stipulation agreement and stated that the Licensee has agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served (by paying a fine in lieu of suspension of $200), with 10 days held in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-901(1)(a) of the Colorado Liquor Code, permitting the sale or service of alcohol beverages to a person under the age of 21 years. Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented for Jasmine Garden, 2721 South College Avenue. December 17, 2003 Show -Cause Hearing for Lemay Liquors, Inc., dba Lemay Liquors, 737 South Lemay, #B-2 Stipulation Agreement Approved Assistant City Attorney Ablao summarized the stipulation agreement and stated that the Licensee has agreed to a 15 day suspension, 10 days served (concurrent with previous violation days held in abeyance), with 15 days held in abeyance for 2 years forviolating C.R.S. 12-47-901 (1)(a) of the Colorado Liquor Code, permitting the sale or service of alcohol beverages to a person under the age of 21 years. Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented for Lemay Liquors, 737 South Lemay, #B-2. Show -Cause Hearing for Saigon Grill, Inc., dba Saigon Grill, 755 South Lemay, #133 Stipulation Agreement Approved Assistant City Attorney Ablao summarized the stipulation agreement and stated that the Licensee has agreed to a 15 day suspension, 5 days served (by paying a fine in lieu of suspension of $200), with 10 days held in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-901(1)(a) of the Colorado Liquor Code, permitting the sale or service of alcohol beverages to a person under the age of 21 years. Show -Cause Hearing for Casco, ITC, Inc., dba Surfside Seven Cafe, 150 North College Avenue, Stipulation Agreement Approved Assistant City Attorney Ablao summarized the stipulation agreement and stated that the Licensee has agreed to a 14 day suspension, 7 days served, with 7 days held in abeyance for 1 year for violating C.R.S. 12-47-901(1) (a) of the Colorado Liquor Code, permitting the sale or service of alcohol beverages to a person under the age of 21 years. December 17, 2003 Judge Lane approved the findings, conclusion and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented for Surfside Seven Cafe, 150 North College Avenue.
