LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MINUTES
Regular Meeting —May 8 2000

A regular meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on Monday, May 8, 2000, in Municipal
Court, 123 North College. Judge Kathleen M. Lane presiding.

Agenda Review
Deputy City Clerk Jensen stated that there were no changes to the agenda.
Show Cause Hearing for Harmony Liquors,
115 East Harmony Road # 100 Stipulation Agreement AWroved
Assistant City Attorney Tempel stated that the licensee and the Fort Collins Police Department have
worked out a stipulation agreement regarding the violation. The salient points of the stipulation
agreement are:
• The Licensee's retail liquor license shall be suspended for a period of 23 days.
Three of such days shall be an active suspension commencing at 12:01 a.m., May
10, 2000, and ending at 12:01 a.m. on May 13, 2000. The Licensee shall post the
premise as described in Regulation 47-600F. The remaining 20 days of suspension
are to be held in abeyance for a period of 2 years.
• Within 120 days of the date of the Authority�s approval of the Stipulation
Agreement, the Licensee shall complete a transfer of ownership of the retail liquor
license to a person who is unrelated to her or her husband, Kyeungnam Hwang,
and who has no record of any violation of the Colorado Liquor code or
Regulations. If the transfer of ownership is not completed, the Licensee's retail
liquor license shall be actively suspended for an additional 7 consecutive days
(Sunday excluded), separate and apart from the days held in abeyance.
Mr. K.Y. Kang, attorney representing the Licensee, stated the client is agreeable to this stipulation
agreement.

Judge Lane approved the findings and order accepting the stipulation agreement as presented for
Harmony Liquors, 115 East Harmony Road # 100.
The meeting adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
