Special Meeting
September 14, 1977 - 1:00 p.m.
A special meeting of the Liquor Licensing Authority was held on
Wednesday, September 14, 1977, at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers
of the City of Fort Collins City Hall. Roll call was answered by
the following members: Bean, Long, Renz and Seegmiller.
(Secretary's note: Wilson came in after discussion of first item.)
Staff members present: Sgt. Robert Mason and Deputy City Clerk
LaVonne Dowell.
Also: Assistant City Attorney Ramsey Myatt
Renewal of a Class C, 3.2% Fermented Malt
Beverage License for El Burrito Cafe, 404
Linden, approved.
This is a routine renewal and the Police Department investigation has
revealed nothing derogatory and their recommendation is to approve
the renewal.
Authority member Long made a motion, seconded by Authority member
Bean to approve the renewal application for a Class C 3.2% Fermented
Malt Beverage License for El Burrito Cafe. The Chairman put the motion
which was unanimously adopted.

Beverage License for Pine Tavern, 244 Pine
Street, approved.
Mr. Myatt, City Attorney, advised the Council that his office had not
received a return receipt of his letter dated August 25, notifying
the licensee of this special meeting to consider the application to
renew the 3.2% Fermented Malt Beverage License.
Sgt. Robert Mason from the Police Department advised the Authority that
the case pending in County Court had been continued to December 14,
1977. In view of this the recommendation from the Police Department
would be to approve the application to renew the license and schedule
a show/cause hearing on the violation of service to an underaged person.
Authority member Renz made a motion, seconded by Authority member
Wilson to approve the renewal application for a Class C, 3.2% Fermented
Malt Beverage License for Pine Tavern, 244 Pine Street. The Chairman
put the motion which was unanimously adopted.

Mr. Myatt, City Attorney, instructed the Police Department to
submit a request for a show/cause hearing in writing to the
Authority at the next meeting regarding this violation.
Adjournment
Authority member Long made a motion, seconded by Authority member
Wilson to adjourn the meeting. The Chairman put the motion which
was unanimously adopted.
