III. Old Business
1) Vision Discussion: Barb will check in with the Commission members to determine the most
productive way to have this discussion.
2) Quarterly Newsletter: members tentatively agreed that the format and schedule suggested by Paula
was great. Next steps include: 1) assign a Commission member to oversee the newsletter project,
2) determine overall newsletter themes and contributors, 3) determine distribution methods, 4)
identify technical support (graphics, layout, etc)
Brainstormed themes included: serving on boards and commissions and participating in elections;
affordable housing; child care in Larimer County
Paula volunteered to look at some of the data available and create the outline for the first newsletter
Suggestion that the newsletter be created in email format
Suggestion that a CSU student could take on the format/layout/graphic project
Suggestion that a list serve could be developed and used to distribute the newsletter
Shelby volunteered to work on the newsletter — possibly helping with research and writing something
It was suggested that the first newsletter be dedicated to Paula

chaired by a Commission member. This assignment will be discussed at the next meeting.
