In a rcbb>ry of t o Library the night of May 2h, the following items :were stolen: taro ty-,vriters, ene florescent desk lamp, an electric eraser, several books and approxi'!atel;r '32 in cash. Father Coverley moved that two new typewriters be purchased for the Library, electric if possible. 'The motion was seconded and carried. lne desk lamp should be replaced by the County and the eraser and books can be replaced out of Library funds: There :was a discussion as to :what action should be taken by the Board concerning the Auditorium. Father Coverley moved the plan of the Library taking over the Auditorium be taken to the City Coircil immediately for their approval. The motion was seconded and carried. Father Coverley was appointed to appear before the Council wr_th the Board's recommendation. Loveland's objection of Article 1 of the cooperative aggrement was discussed, in which eac^ library may set their own requirements for card holders. Mr. Riddell moved that the secretary write letters to the Loveland Board and the County Board statire that the Fort Collins Board will accept the agreement as originally proposed with no c-anes, and that the same card be honored in each of the three libraries. The motion was seconded and carried. In discussing the budget for 196.14, salaries were increased by 5% except for Mrs. slhiting, whose salary is 'to be increased'comparable to Mra. Mannon's salary. Mr. Riddell moved that steps be taken to separate operation of the County and the City Libraries the first of January. The motion was seconded and carried and a meetin- with the County Board was set foi• May $1 at 4 p.m, to inform them of our decision and work out a solution.
