The Library Board met in the Little Club Room at 4:00 p.m. Minutes of the
September 3 meeting were read and corrected.
Father Coverlet moved that each member of the Board become a member of the
Colorado Library Association - dues to be paid out of the Library Budget. The
motion was seconded and carried.
A letter of resignation as Librarian was read from Mrs. Stoner. Father Coverley
suggested the Secretary write a letter of appreciation to Mrs. Stoner for her
work during the past 23 years. Mrs. Stoner suggested that Mrs. Ward be given
professional duties in addition to her regular duties until the vacancy of the
Librarian is filled.
Mrs. Stoner reported that the DAR wish to give a collection of books on
geneology to the Library provided they be kept in a locked case. The Board
recommended that the gift proposal.be submitted to the Board in writing.
Mr. Jake Schild, assistant.custodian, was hired to take Mr. Fitzgerald's place
September 1. It was.reported by Mrs, Thornburg that the custodial work was
being done well. A1so.Mr.,Haeffner is doing his work in the evenings well.
The meeting adjourned.
