The Board of Directors of the Public Library met at
4 P.M. in the Little Club Room at the Library. Mr. Strahle
moved that the Board adopt the sick policy as outlined
by Mrs. Thornburg as follows:
Proposed sick leave policy:
Full time employees shall be granted 12 days sick
leave for each year accumulative to 24 working days.
After the completion of 10 years of service employees
shall be gran"ted'20'w6rking days accumulative to 30
days.'
'After the 'completion of' 15 years,' employees shall be
granted 30 wo'rking'days"with no accumulation.
The motion was ssconded'and 'carried.
A'letter"from'the State'Library Association was read
stating that dues for'the ensuing'year should be paid.
Mr. Strahle'moded that 'the'Library pay dues for each Board
Member out of the budget. The motion was seconded and
carried.
It was Announced that the Library Board would meet
April 23, 1964 with the City Council in their informal
meeting following the Council's regular meeting; 'to 'request
permission to convert the Additorium wing of"the Library
to Library purposes; said conversion to take' Place 'on or
before July 1, 1964.
The meeting adjourned.
